A huge thank you to everyone that participated in the Littlebury Litter Pick on Sunday afternoon, despite the at times bitter wind whistling through the village. We had a fantastic turn out of over 30 people plus lots of young helpers! A huge amount of litter picked and the village looks sparkly clean again. Some interesting items collected – Nick was well on the way to a new car with all the spare parts he collected! 🚗
A special thank you to the Littlebury Ladies cake makers, to Bill for the bar, to Carolyn and Pam for teas and coffees and general entertainment and to the Parish Council for funding the safety signs and the bar. Thanks also to the committee members for making it all happen.
We hope to see you all again – plus some new faces – at the next Litter Pick sometime in the Spring, date to be advised.
In the meantime, why not take a rubbish bag out whenever you are out walking the dog or just out for a stroll. Every little helps…
