Refuse & Recycling

Kitchen refuse is collected weekly in the bin with the brown lid on Wednesday mornings. Recyclable (green lid) and non-recyclable material (black lid) is collected every other week at about the same time. Uttlesford supplies each household annually with a helpful and instructive leaflet giving refuse collection and recycling information.

Check the Calendar to see which collection it is for which week. More details on the Uttlesford site.

Green Waste Collection

Uttlesford District Council provide kerb-side collection of garden waste on alternate weeks on Thursday for a subscription fee. See the calendar for dates.

From spring to autumn a collection is made fortnightly at either the car park on the recreation ground in Littlebury or Merton Place on the weekend. See the calendar for dates.
