The beautiful and historic church of Holy Trinity is at the heart of Littlebury. Grade 1 listed, it has its origins in the Norman era and has been present during almost nine centuries of events such as the plague, the reformation and two world wars. Holy Trinity has taken them all in its stride and is still as fresh and relevant today as at any time. However, like all good things the church needs to be loved; the work in keeping up the fabric, fixtures, fittings and the churchyard in which it stands is demanding in terms of funds and time.

The Friends of Holy Trinity Littlebury is a secular organisation with charity status, which has been created to protect, preserve and enhance the church and its churchyard to ensure its survival for future generations. The Friends undertake all kinds of fund raising activity such as concerts, art exhibitions, speakers and open gardens enabling important renovation projects to be undertaken. The Friends also contribute considerably with practical support; their twice yearly ‘Ivy Pull’ afternoons’ are both valuable and a lot of fun.
Please visit the church and see for yourselves what a treasure we have in our village. Your support in the form of monetary contributions and practical assistance would be greatly appreciated.
