Health Visitors

The Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service provides an important role in making sure all children have the best start in life, by offering a range of services to all children, young people, and families.

Saffron Walden Community Hospital is part of the Spangles Family Hub for services in pregnancy and the first five years including Health Visitors. Health Visitors are Registered Nurses with specialist training. They may also have training in Midwifery, Obstetrics and Children’s Nursing.
