Councillors and the Clerk

Parish Councillors wanted

Do you want to influence the way our parish develops and changes in the future?
Littlebury Parish Council currently has the opportunity to co-opt a new parish councillor.  Being a parish councillor is an enjoyable way of contributing to your community and helping to make it a better place to live and work.  Having the power to influence decisions for the benefit of the people you serve and to see your community change for the better as a result of decisions you have helped make, is something that can give you a sense of achievement and pride.

A golden opportunity

If you have ever thought about getting more involved in the community now could be your golden opportunity! There is one vacancy on Littlebury Parish Council – to stand you must be over 18, a British, Commonwealth or EU Citizen and you must have lived or worked in the Parish (or within a few miles) for the last 12 months.  The Parish Council meets 10 times a year, on the third Wednesday of the month at 7.30 pm.  Meetings usually last around 2 hours.  To find out more about what the role involves email Jodie our Parish Clerk, at clerk@littleburyparishcouncil.gov.uk
