An update from Billy and Shiona:
Dear All
Well after a tumultuous journey over the last 9 months, we think we have finally reached a sensible arrangement with GreeneKing which will help the Queens Head re-open. Whilst the works that need doing by GK are ongoing, we will be taking baby steps to ensure we trade profitably and sustainably, that said, the initial plan to re-open starts with the England v Germany game on Tuesday, we will open at 4pm for the night serving food and drinks, we do hope that you will support us and the pub as you have done in the past.
Tuesday will be one night only due to other commitments we have, due to the fact we didn’t think we would be at this point with GK. Re-opening w/c Monday 12th July from 11am-6pm until Friday 16th July, then all being well and agreements in place, Monday – Sunday 11-6pm.
There will be a new Facebook page and will send all the details via the Whatsapp groups. We hope that to help us not waste stock that pre-booking will help, also with the labour costs.
The pub phone will be back operational from Monday and the email:qhlittlebury@gmail.com is operational now should you wish to book in advance.
We both are looking forward to a brighter future within the village.
