Littlebury is a village and civil parish in the Uttlesford District of northwest Essex, consisting of Littlebury village, Littlebury Green and Catmere End.

Although close to the borders of Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, and Suffolk, we are still part of the picturesque Essex countryside. Littlebury village is almost 2 miles from the market town of Saffron Walden, 12 miles (20km) south from Cambridge. The B1383 runs through the village and is flanked by some of the 52 listed properties.   The centre of Littlebury village is a conservation area.  The 2021 census gave a population of 868.

Our parish has a good community spirit. There are two churches, Holy Trinity Church in Littlebury and St Peter’s Church and Community Centre in Littlebury Green.  There is a Village Hall in Littlebury. The Queens Head in Littlebury, has recently re-opened.
