Nehemiah Perry and the Gypsies

Local historians Martin Rose David Melford will be giving a two-handed talk at 7.30pm on Thursday 5th May at St Peter’s Littlebury Green.  They will be sharing the tale of Nehemiah Perry, the 1849 shooting at Strethall Hall and Nehemiah’s Gypsy marriage, divorce, mistresses, will and later life. It’s a cracking story! Entry is free to the inaugural meeting of the Littlebury Hamlets History group – although donations are welcomed.  A glass of wine will be served too!
