The sun shone for the visit in June to Fullers Mill Garden, in Suffolk. The River Lark runs through the enchanted and tranquil waterside and woodland garden, which sixty years ago was merely rough scrub and trees. Now it is seven acres of year round interest, with a fabulous collection of unusual shrubs, perennials and marginal plants. The riverbanks and Mill Pond were a haven for dancing dragonflies …the perfect week to see them. The Garden was gifted to Perennial, The Gardeners Benevolent Society five years ago, and is open to visitors from April to September.
