There was a good turnout and exhibits included colourful and fragrant stems of Roses, Clematis, Flowering Herbaceous Plants, as well as Fruit, Herbs, Vegetables, and decorative Foliage. As always the emphasis was on participation rather than the quality of produce, and members brought a variety of species for inclusion in each of the ten classes. Best in Show was Gill Gates with Sweet Pea “Almost Black”, and Overall Winner with the maximum number of votes for her combined entries was Catherine Cocks. Please note that there will not be a Meeting during August.
