Great Chesterford & District Garden Society had an evening visit to a 5-acre garden at Merton House, Granchester in May 2024. The house and garden have been in the same family for over 90 years. Plenty to see with mixed herbaceous borders – roses and shrubs, a maze and pleached lime walk. One area of the garden was exclusively for the growing seasonal botanicals for the Cambridge Distillery that describes its Gin as – “The perfect expression of the English country garden”.
