The Littlebury Litterpick held on Sunday 27th April was a great success. We had a fantastic turnout of around 40 pickers who collected litter along all the routes in and out of the village reaching as far as the crest of windmill hill and the M11. More than 20 bags of litter were piled up outside the village hall for Uttlesford District Council to collect. Included in the litter were a £5 Monopoly note, several abandoned highways signs, and caravan flywheel and a bucket of cement.

The organisers gave a huge thank you to everyone that helped out. Picking was followed by a BBQ and drinks in the Village Hall. Thanks to Bill, Martin and Tom for the refreshments and to Nick, Scott, Brian, John, and Steve for organising and to the Ladies (and Cliff) for the cakes – and not forgetting Carolyn and Pam for teas and coffees.
