The Friends raise funds for new and replacement play equipment for the playground at Littlebury. Annual events include a Village Fun day held at the ‘rec’ in the summer, a children’s Christmas party and a wide variety of social events aimed at adults which are held in the village hall during the course of the year.
A few of us from the new Friends of Littlebury Playground Committee have set up a Facebook group to arrange toddler meet ups and, when the weather improves, some family get-togethers down at the playground and rec such as kick-abouts, water-play, tree climbing, litter-picks and more. The aim is to make the most of our village’s resources and provide some more casual opportunities for families to feel part of the community.
