Bishop welcomes new Team Vicar

The Bishop of Chelmsford, the Rt Revd Stephen Cottrell, was at Holy Trinity Church, Littlebury on 2 September, together with the Archdeacon of Stansted the Revd Canon Robin King, to conduct the Licensing Service of Revd Jeremy Parsons as new Team Vicar in the Saffron Walden and Villages Team Ministry. Jeremy will have pastoral responsibility for the parishes of Great Chesterford, Little Chesterford, Littlebury and Wendens Ambo. Addressing a congregation of over 150 from across the parishes, the Bishop encouraged them to put prayer at the centre of their witness and service in their communities, and to play their full part in supporting Jeremy in his Ministry. As part of the service a wide range of civic leaders from across the local communities added their welcome to Jeremy and his wife Ruth.
